SC Engineers has provided LEED fundamental and enhanced commissioning for 10 facilities for the San Diego Community College District built under the Proposition S & N construction program. Our role was to ensure that the buildings' mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems are reliable; economical to maintain and operate; adhere to existing campus building standards; and meet project LEED and Title 24 requirements.

SC Engineers served as the Commissioning Authority for the following facilities: 1) Cesar Chavez Continuing Education Center; 2) City College Academic Success Center; 3) City College Arts and Humanities and Business Technology Facilities; 4) Mesa College Fitness Center; 5) Mesa College Fine Arts Facility Upgrade; 6) Mesa College Center for Business Technology; 7) Mesa College Facility Services Remodel; 8) Miramar College Aviation Technology Center; 9) Miramar College Library / Learning Resource Center; and 10) North City Campus Expansion. The majority of these projects achieved LEED certification, ranging from Certified to Gold certification levels.
